How it works: getting a new website in a few easy steps
STEP 1:
Assessing the existing website
We begin by taking a comprehensive look at your current website before having detailed discussions with you to understand what you are looking to achieve with redesigning the website.
As part of our response, we shall list and explain what areas and features of the website needs to be overhauled, what areas require major changes, what areas work as they are but could use some improvements, and so on…
STEP 2:
Granting access to the account
We shall guide you on how to grant us relevant access to the website builder. These are typically limited access that restricts us to only the website builder and/or selective account tools needed to redesign and improve the website. Full account ownership and access remains with you.
You are free to revoke our access when the work is completed and re-grant such access in the future if/when you need our assistance. We will only advise the you leave us with access if you have subscribed to our retainer and maintenance services where we need an established access to maintain and updates your websites regularly.
STEP 3:
Only existing contents, additional contents, or changes to contents
By website contents or website copy as sometimes called, we are referring to the information such as texts, images, files or documents, videos, etc.
We can work with the existing website contents to redesign and re-build a more functional and effective website inline with our discussions. Additional pages and contents can be added. We can also make changes to the existing contents if requested.
Help with images:
With the texts (or wordings) provided by you, we can help you find suitable images to go with those texts. Lots of our clients actually prefer this option because as designers, we are better equipped to find the most suitable images to accompany and compliments our clients messaging strategy.
STEP 4:
Redesigning the website
The website is redesigned in accordance with the agreed approach and the scale of changes with room for multiple revisions and more changes along the way.
Through out the redesign process, we share our step-by-step progress with you and request your feedback with recommendation for necessary changes (if any). We make such changes and present that step to you again for a follow up revision and further changes.
